DESCRIPTION
Comfort Retriever is a relatively new idea that was sparked from olden day "accidents" and the desire to produce a smaller or miniature golden retriever without sacrificing coat, color, temperament and personality. We hope to ad health and longevity to the mix as well. Our comfort retrievers are at least 50% golden retriever. We start with small golden retrievers that are under 60 lbs. We then use good tempered breeding stock to keep the "golden retriever" temperament fully intact all the while reducing its size. Sometimes we will do higher percentages of golden retriever. Up to 75% Golden even. :o) If you are at all interested in a miniature golden retriever please contact me for current availability.
P.S. Not all Comfort retrievers are created alike. This will become Americas hot new breed but please take careful consideration before buying just any "ole" Comfort Retriever as not all of these mixes will have that tried and true kid and family friendly temperament that we all love and Cherrish from the golden retriever.
