Easy store

In the nineteenth century as much poetry was read as prose. And poetry told not only of emotions and impressions but also long stories, some of them exciting, some dramatic, some romantic, some highly fanciful, and some full of social comment.
In this collection all of these types are included. From THE EVE OF ST. AGNES, a romantic tale of elopement, to THE BALLAD OF READING GAOL, a bitter narrative of imprisonment and death, every kind of story can be found.
This is not a book to be read from cover to cover in one sitting but a book to be explored often for just the poem to suit the reader's mood.

This is a library book so it does have a heavy jacket cover, with library stamp inside front cover and taped codes on binding. The book itself is in excellent condition.
