Frederic Remington's 'The Horse Thief'. Own a piece of Americana in your own home. This magnificent piece is another highly detailed piece that was obtained in the very early 1950's. It was produced approx in the 1940's. Very solid workmanship, this is not like the repro's that you find today everywhere. Highly quality bronze work with a solid marble base. This statue measures 22" tall x 20 1/2" long. The marble base is oval & measures 21 1/2" long x 9" wide x 1 1/4" thick. This piece also has the authorized Frederic Remington signature on it. A great collectible for the serious Remington enthusiast! This is another one of Remington's most sought after pieces. This piece also has much more bronze work towards the base than many of the others which makes it quite a heavy weight! Gorgeous detail!
