DESCRIPTIONOne of the great mysteries of English drama is the fact that so very little is known about the life of William Shakespeare. This is so, primarily, because there was no Shakespeare biography written until nearly 100 years after his death. During that 100 year span, fact became mingled with legend-and what we do know has been pieced together from secondary sources or implied from his work. This beautiful book is marked Volume 2...this includes plays in chronological order. This is a hardcover book with dust jacket. This has uncut pages, with very little wear to the book, dust jacket has fraying and tears on front and corner. This book is not marked with a publishing date, the only information I could find was on the back cover which says Printed in the United States, 1853. I do not know for certain if this is symbolic or the actual publishing date. From what I have been able to research this was possibly printed somewhere between 1912-1930, by Nelson Doubleday, Inc. 1140 pages. This book will ship boxed, wrapped and insured for safe arrival.
